our philosophy

Mínima is a Greek origin word, which means message, with which we aim to communicate to our guests in the colourful and tasty language of unlimited Mediterranean gastronomy. We consider it our mission to ensure that everyone who comes to our restaurant has the opportunity to experience this sensational adventure, through our special fusion dishes and hospitality, which they can spread the word about.

With more than 40 years of experience as a chef, he has been a member of the Dionysos team for many years and has catered for many Hollywood celebrities, including Harrison Ford, Anthony Hopkins and Ethan Hawke. He has travelled around the Mediterranean for gastronomic inspiration as well as experience. As the chef of Mínima, his goal is to give his guests a taste of the Mediterranean lifestyle and gastronomic freedom.
Weisz Roland
He is not a man of words, but his plates tell the story instead. He has worked his way up through the ranks as both a pastry chef and a chef, and he is well acquainted with the world of French new-wave cakes, but his heart is drawn to the Mediterranean. At Mínima, he can fulfil his desires to be both a pastry chef and a chef, and creatively make Mediterranean-inspired masterpieces.

Mínima Bistro is the manifestation of a longlasting desire of the owner of Dionysos Taverna to not only recall the atmosphere and cuisine of a particular country, but to freely recreate a unique taste experience and a vibe of lifestyle, combining the Mediterranean flavours he has experienced during his travels, which will remain a pleasant memory for our guests even after they have left, and enjoyed the Mediterranean-inspired dishes with the wonderful panoramic view of the Danube.

As a child she was already fascinated by the Greek way of life and culture, which she combined with her professional catering skills during her years as a student of the chef Uncle Laci Benke and during her work at Dionysos Taverna, so it is important to her that Mínima Bistro offers not just quality services, but an unforgettable and soul-stimulating experience for its guests.

He experienced every step of the catering profession and then followed his mentor, our chef László Cseh, to join the team. For him, communicating with guests and expressing hospitality is a priority, which he sees as an opportunity for self-improvement, and for which Mínima Bistro is happy to provide.
